Aeris is one of Tellur's two moons, orbited by its smaller counterpart Aggro. It has a radius of 7,000 kilometers, making it slightly larger than the earth. The surface of Aeris appears to be a marbled mix of blue and silver, while closer inspection with a telescope reveals a surface dominated by vast seas and extensive cloud cover, with mysterious points of light covering the seas like glitter.
Some explorers have reached Aeris through ancient portals located on Tellur. They describe it as a water world, with none of its surface area containing any land. Throughout the sky, massive spheroids of glowing crystal float about up to three kilometers above sea level. Up to one kilometer above sea level are islands that float in the sky.
The world itself seems to be largely devoid of animal life, dominated mostly by primitive forms of plant life (sea weed, kelp, algae, plankton, etc). That isn't to say it isn't uninhabited, however. Some mages have taken up residence on some of the sky islands, seeking solitude so that they may study their magic in peace and quiet. A few Sky Elf villages also reside within the skies of Aeris, while Sea Elves inhabit the oceans.
