It's been a year overdue, but the I've finally (more or less) completed the art upgrade. Before, the characters were drawn in 2D with inkscape while the backgrounds were made using snapshots from either InWorldz or Second Life, and then it was all composited into gimp.

Now, however, the characters and scenery are all being done in Blender, and after rendering, the individual panels are put together into a comic in GIMP. It's a mixture of both simpler and more complicated, but all in all I believe that the results will be higher quality, and the characters shall be far more expressive.
