Zauber ParacelsusIn the last few comics, I've been experimenting with better composition. In episode 45, I had changed the speech bubbles to be translucent instead of transparent, which allowed the text to have better contrast against the backgrounds. In episode 46, I changed up the speech bubbles to have curved connections, and I started experimenting with different frame layouts.
In this one, I did more with changing up the frame layout so that everything is less boring. Had I continued using the old layout, the comic would likely have taken an additional row or two, and would have a larger filesize. Special thanks to Snoots Dwagon for feedback, and to YadNi Monde for the French translation of Hassad's pick-up line.
But then again, he's not actually speaking French, and nobody is actually speaking English. They're speaking in the Common Telluric language. And Hassad was hitting on Valvadine a foreign language that translates best into French. Valvadine doesn't understand what Hassad was saying, but wouldn't be any more impressed if she did.
